Freedom is one of the highest values treasured by people throughout the world. So is peace. In Africa we are especially conscious of that, because most of us are still continued to be denied these basic humaneness: to exercise our freedom in a peaceful environment. In South Africa, perhaps, we are lucky that we enjoy relative freedom and peace. But our sisters and brothers in the rest of Africa are not always so lucky.
How can we ensure freedom and peace for the next generation?
